On the menu this week
We are passionate about having an ever changing line of independent craft ales, fresh cask beers and delicious ciders with our 3 main feature pump being changed and feature weekly. Last weekend the porter didn't quite sell out, but with only 4 or 5 pints left it still did far better than I expected and has made me eat a bit of humble pie!
My instinct this week is to go back to 3 cask ales. I've been really looking forward to trying the first one, a hazy pale ale from Stardust called Zestar. Their PK3 keg sold out in almost record time and Zestar should be just as popular. Fruity, hoppy and light, it's a real beaut.
Second up is a new golden ale from Glastonbury called Headliner. It has a really nice, clean taste and citra hopped, so should be popular. In fact, the more I drink it, the more I'm inclined to make it my beer of the week.
And lastly, it's Sugarloaf, a bitter from Tudor which we've tried before. A lovely colour and strong, traditional flavour, this one is also a fantastic ale.

function room!
We are proud to announce the opening of a new seating area at The Ale Way. Inspired by our location at Axminster Station and by the amazing work being done by the volunteers at For The Love of a Railway! It is a cosy space that seats up to 12 people. The room can be hired / reserved for meetings or a quiet space to enjoy drinks with friends. We also hire out the entire pub for larger groups and parties.
