On the menu this week
We are passionate about having an ever changing line of independent craft ales, fresh cask beers and delicious ciders with our 3 main feature pump being changed and feature weekly. This week we have three brand new cask beers to The Ale Way.
First up is one which I've been looking forward to trying since I ordered it a couple of weeks ago and it doesn't disappoint. It's a hazy pale ale called Best of Both Worlds, led by main brewer Arbor but in collaboration with Utopian, the brewer of our resident lager. It has a tangy fruitiness to it and also a nice bitterness. It's really nice and bound to be popular.
Next up is a really pale IPA from Bristol Beer Factory called Party Wave. Their beers have been flying off the shelf in the past few weeks and this one is sure to be no different. It's a bit more subtle in flavour to the hazy pale but very tasty.
Lastly we have an amber ale from Teignmouth called DAB. Only 3.4% abv but with a really distinct flavour. Teignmouth's Portside, which we had on a couple of weeks ago, divided opinion but this one should be more popular with its more traditional bitter taste.
Really hard to choose my beer of the week this week but I think I'll opt for Party Wave.
We'll also have a new stout on keg, probably tomorrow, as there’s only a handful of Theakston's Barista pints left. I'll put out an update when it changes...

function room!
We are proud to announce the opening of a new seating area at The Ale Way. Inspired by our location at Axminster Station and by the amazing work being done by the volunteers at For The Love of a Railway! It is a cosy space that seats up to 12 people. The room can be hired / reserved for meetings or a quiet space to enjoy drinks with friends. We also hire out the entire pub for larger groups and parties.
