1. £1 per square, each person can buy up to 5 squares in one week
2. 50 squares available each week
3. Pick an empty square and add your name
4. A ticket will be drawn every Saturday night at 7.30pm
5. A customer in the pub at 7.30pm each Saturday will be chosen at random to draw a ticket
6. If your name is in the square which matches the drawn ticket then you get a chance to rescue the Pug
7. Choose one card from the board. If you find the Pug you win all the money in the pot at that time.
8. If you don’t find the pug then the money in the pot will roll over each week until the Pug is rescued!
9. If the person whose square is picked is not in the pub at the time of the draw then a random customer will try to rescue the Pug on the square-holder’s behalf
10. If the Pug is not rescued, then the dog which is rescued will be put back into the Pub in the same place! Ideally you want to remember which dogs have been rescued and put back in the Pub to increase your chances of rescuing the Pug!

Our new games have finally arrived and are ready and waiting to be played whilst enjoying a drink.
There's a range of quick games, longer games, cards and dominoes. If you're brave enough you can challenge me to a game of Scrabble, Connect 4 or Top Trumps when time allows me to play.

The Ale Way Event Space
Hosting an event at The Ale Way:
We are opening our offering to those looking for a cosy space to host a small group (8-12 people).
We would like to welcome social groups, book clubs, small office parties to our Micropub on the railway.
With the option of food from our wonderful neighbours at The Railway Cafe or a bring your own option, all we ask is that you purchase drinks at the bar. Whether that be one of our delicious real ales, wonderful local spirits and wines or a cup of cosy tea or coffee. We would love to bring the community in to enjoy all we have to offer.
